In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work Portrait of a lady, possibly Bianca Capello de'Medici, half-length, in an embroidered gold dress and pearls sold for USD 133,000.00 (€ 91,927.01) - well above the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alessandro Allori have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Holy Family With The Infant Saint John The Baptist in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 557,600.00 (€ 828,164.71).
