In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction RUSSIAN PICTURES, which included the work Still Life With Bottle And Fruit by Aleksandra Aleksandrovna Ekster. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 71,700.00 (€ 103,140.06), 59% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Aleksandra Aleksandrovna Ekster have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Picnic On The Beach in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 657,600.00 (€ 976,556.58).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 71.700,00 (€ 103.140,06) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aleksandra Aleksandrovna Ekster auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Picnic On The Beach im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 657.600,00 (€ 976.556,58).
