Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Coloured Rhythm by Aleksandra Aleksandrovna Ekster was sold in the RUSSIAN PICTURES auction at Christies in London in November 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 21,510.00 (€ 30,942.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aleksandra Aleksandrovna Ekster achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picnic On The Beach in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 657,600.00 (€ 976,556.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Coloured Rhythm von Aleksandra Aleksandrovna Ekster wurde im November 2004 in der Auktion RUSSIAN PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 21.510,00 (€ 30.942,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aleksandra Aleksandrovna Ekster erzielen.
