Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 105,777.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Aleksandra Aleksandrovna Ekster have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Picnic On The Beach in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 657,600.00 (€ 976,556.58).
