Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nature morte avec pastèque by Alecos Fassianos was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in May this year. The price achieved of EUR 31,875.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alecos Fassianos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek the Return in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 197,582.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nature morte avec pastèque von Alecos Fassianos wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 31.875,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alecos Fassianos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek the Return im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 169.250,00 (€ 197.582,04).
