It achieved a price of EUR 16,575.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alecos Fassianos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek the Return in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 197,582.04).

Die Arbeit L'homme lumineux 52 x 36.5cm (20 1/2 x 14 3/8in) von Alecos Fassianos wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 16.575,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alecos Fassianos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek the Return im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 169.250,00 (€ 197.582,04).
