In November this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Conte de fée sans titre by Alecos Fassianos. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 32,000.00 60% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alecos Fassianos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek the Return in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 197,582.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Conte de fée sans titre von Alecos Fassianos zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 32.000,00 und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alecos Fassianos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek the Return im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 169.250,00 (€ 197.582,04).
