A top price for Albino Galvano - as previously expected
The work Composizione by Albino Galvano was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of ITL 4,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of ITL 4,112,500.00 (€ 3,784.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Composizione is the most expensive artwork by Albino Galvano that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Composizione von Albino Galvano kam im November 2000 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von ITL 4.000.000,00 – 5.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von ITL 4.112.500,00 (€ 3.784,22) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
