In July 2020 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Senza titolo by Albino Galvano. The result of EUR 1,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albino Galvano - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composizione, which sold at auction in November 2000 for ITL 4,112,500.00 (€ 3,784.22).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juli 2020 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo von Albino Galvano zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Albino Galvano mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composizione beobachtet, die im November 2000 für ITL 4.112.500,00 (€ 3.784,22) versteigert wurde.
