Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Alberto Sughi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in November last year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Pugile vittorioso sold for EUR 4,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alberto Sughi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Donna seduta, which sold at auction in November 2000 for ITL 12,925,000.00 (€ 11,893.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alberto Sughi erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Pugile vittorioso für EUR 4.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alberto Sughi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Donna seduta beobachtet, die im November 2000 für ITL 12.925.000,00 (€ 11.893,26) versteigert wurde.
