Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Senza Titolo by Alberto Savinio for GBP 245,000.00 (€ 342,693.81). This price was achieved in the auction The Italian Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alberto Savinio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Croix marine, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 692,750.00 (€ 781,208.28).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Alberto Savinio für GBP 245.000,00 (€ 342.693,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Italian Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alberto Savinio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Croix marine beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 692.750,00 (€ 781.208,28) versteigert wurde.
