Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Ritratto di Giuseppina Emo by Alberto Savinio was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 45,000.00 – 60,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 21,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Savinio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Croix marine in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 692,750.00 (€ 781,208.28).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Ritratto di Giuseppina Emo von Alberto Savinio im Mai 2013 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 45.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 21.000,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Savinio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Croix marine im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 692.750,00 (€ 781.208,28).
