Upper estimate price exceeded by 26 %.
The work Point d'arrivée by Alberto Magnelli was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in March 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 56,700.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Magnelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Toilette in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 916,000.00 (€ 1,359,297.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Point d'arrivée von Alberto Magnelli kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 56.700,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Magnelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Toilette im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 916.000,00 (€ 1.359.297,93).
