The work Piatto con uccello (Plat à l'oiseau) by Alberto Magnelli was sold in the Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Paris in October 2021. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 151,200.00 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alberto Magnelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Toilette in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 916,000.00 (€ 1,359,297.93).

Die Arbeit Piatto con uccello (Plat à l'oiseau) von Alberto Magnelli wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Sale bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 151.200,00 und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alberto Magnelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Toilette im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 916.000,00 (€ 1.359.297,93).
