Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Sommerliche Landschaft. by Albert Trachsel was auctioned at Koller in June 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of CHF 500.00 – 700.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for CHF 488.00 (€ 401.99). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Trachsel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Traumlandschaft mit Baumgruppe, 1906 in June 2010 with an auction result of CHF 16,200.00 (€ 12,232.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Sommerliche Landschaft. von Albert Trachsel im Juni 2014 bei Koller versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für CHF 488,00 (€ 401,99) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Trachsel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Traumlandschaft mit Baumgruppe, 1906 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 16.200,00 (€ 12.232,71).
