Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Seine à Rouen by Albert Lebourg was auctioned at Christies in New York in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,600.00 (€ 11,826.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Albert Lebourg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Courbevoie in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 41,125.00 (€ 70,294.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Seine à Rouen von Albert Lebourg kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.600,00 (€ 11.826,54) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Lebourg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Courbevoie im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 41.125,00 (€ 70.294,38).
