Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Albert Johansson could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "In medias res VIII", changed hands for SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,273.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Albert Johansson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Anatta" in April 2012 with an auction result of SEK 92,000.00 (€ 10,334.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Albert Johansson konnte im November 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit "In medias res VIII", für SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.273,89) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Johansson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Anatta" im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 92.000,00 (€ 10.334,27).
