Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Finnish la Laitière by Albert Edelfelt. The price achieved of GBP 353,000.00 (€ 460,627.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Other works by Albert Edelfelt have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2013 the work Finnish the Boys' Workhouse, Helsinki was auctioned for GBP 458,500.00 (€ 536,058.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Finnish la Laitière von Albert Edelfelt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 353.000,00 (€ 460.627,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Albert Edelfelt konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2013 die Arbeit Finnish the Boys' Workhouse, Helsinki für GBP 458.500,00 (€ 536.058,09) versteigert.
