Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work When daylight fades by Albert E. Bailey for GBP 475.00 (€ 574.23). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Albert E. Bailey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The lily pool in March 2003 with an auction result of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,553.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
