A top price for Albert E. Bailey - as previously expected
In March 2003 Christies in London held the auction British, Victorian and Scottish Pictures, which included the work The lily pool by Albert E. Bailey. The price achieved of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,553.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The lily pool is the most expensive artwork by Albert E. Bailey that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Victorian and Scottish Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The lily pool von Albert E. Bailey zur Versteigerung kam.
