Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2005 Christies in London held the auction British and Victorian Pictures, which included the work 'The Earth Is The Lords And The Fullness Thereof' by Albert Durer Lucas. The price achieved of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,048.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Durer Lucas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harebells in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 9,560.00 (€ 13,752.01).
