In May 2000 Christies in London held the auction Wildlife, which included the work Peregrine Falcon by Alastair Proud. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 646.25 (€ 1,036.99), 29% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alastair Proud - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Falcon Waiting On; And Grouse In Flight, which sold at auction in December 2017 for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,813.38).

Im Mai 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion Wildlife durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peregrine Falcon von Alastair Proud zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 646,25 (€ 1.036,99) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Alastair Proud mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Falcon Waiting On; And Grouse In Flight beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.813,38) versteigert wurde.
