Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Gyrfalcon studies; Peregrine studies; and Lanner falcon studies by Alastair Proud was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 525.00 (€ 735.14). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alastair Proud - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Falcon Waiting On; And Grouse In Flight, which sold at auction in December 2017 for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,813.38).

Die Arbeit Gyrfalcon studies; Peregrine studies; and Lanner falcon studies von Alastair Proud kam im November 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 525,00 (€ 735,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alastair Proud mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Falcon Waiting On; And Grouse In Flight beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.813,38) versteigert wurde.
