Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2018 Christies in London held the auction Handpicked: 50 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery, which included the work Excellent (With a Flourish of Adjectives About the Zeitgeist) by Alastair MacKinven. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,933.39). Other works by Alastair MacKinven have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,789.26) in March 2017 for the work Pop Was The Sound Of The Bubble Bursting.

Im Juni 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Handpicked: 50 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery durch, in der auch die Arbeit Excellent (With a Flourish of Adjectives About the Zeitgeist) von Alastair MacKinven zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.933,39) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Alastair MacKinven haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.789,26) im März 2017 für die Arbeit Pop Was The Sound Of The Bubble Bursting beobachtet.
