Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Dandelion by Alan Reynolds. The price achieved of GBP 378.00 (€ 416.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Reynolds achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Legend in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 162,236.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dandelion von Alan Reynolds zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 378,00 (€ 416,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Reynolds erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Legend im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 162.236,48).
