This artwork by Alan Reynolds achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2020. In the Modern & Post-War British Art auction, the work A Spring Landscape sold for GBP 25,200.00 (€ 28,131.70) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alan Reynolds have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn Legend in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 162,236.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alan Reynolds erzielte im November 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art wurde die Arbeit A Spring Landscape für GBP 25.200,00 (€ 28.131,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alan Reynolds auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn Legend im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 162.236,48).
