Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Made In Britain, which included the work Four In The Morning by Alan Green. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,505.05). Admittedly, works by Alan Green have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Four Vertical Reds in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 52,874.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made In Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four In The Morning von Alan Green zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.505,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alan Green auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Four Vertical Reds im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 52.874,53).
