Auction result misses estimated price range
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work Five out of Five. by Alan Green for EUR 264.00. This price was achieved in the auction Prints and Editions | ONLINE ONLY at VAN HAM and was even below the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Green achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four Vertical Reds in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 52,874.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Five out of Five. von Alan Green für EUR 264,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints and Editions | ONLINE ONLY bei VAN HAM erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Green erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four Vertical Reds im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 52.874,53).
