Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work In the Harbour by Alan Furneaux was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,657.50 (€ 1,943.76). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alan Furneaux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Marrakesh Pool, which sold at auction in March this year for GBP 4,845.00 (€ 5,512.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit In the Harbour von Alan Furneaux kam im Juli 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.657,50 (€ 1.943,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alan Furneaux mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Marrakesh Pool beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für GBP 4.845,00 (€ 5.512,12) versteigert wurde.
