Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Red Bird Laughter (Opus O.889) by Alan Davie was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 2,304.00 (€ 2,688.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Davie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Goddess Of The Green in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 234,000.00 (€ 347,544.02).

Die Arbeit Red Bird Laughter (Opus O.889) von Alan Davie wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.304,00 (€ 2.688,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
