Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Alain Jacquet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May last year. In the Arte moderna e contemporanea auction, the work The Tub sold for EUR 30,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alain Jacquet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La vierge et l'enfant, which sold at auction in June 2017 for EUR 112,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alain Jacquet erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea wurde die Arbeit The Tub für EUR 30.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alain Jacquet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La vierge et l'enfant beobachtet, die im Juni 2017 für EUR 112.500,00 versteigert wurde.
