Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Nude) by Akbar Padamsee was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in New York in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,024.00 (€ 2,726.04). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Akbar Padamsee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Reclining Nude) in March 2011 with an auction result of USD 1,426,500.00 (€ 1,005,781.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Nude) von Akbar Padamsee wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.024,00 (€ 2.726,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Akbar Padamsee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Reclining Nude) im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.426.500,00 (€ 1.005.781,57).
