Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Aino Kannisto could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Untitled (Reflections in Window) changed hands for USD 240.00 (€ 175.04) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Aino Kannisto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ohne Titel (Mirror II). in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 1,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Aino Kannisto konnte im Juli 2007 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The House Sale wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Reflections in Window) für USD 240,00 (€ 175,04) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aino Kannisto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Mirror II). im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.320,00.
