Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A young girl, in lace-bordered white muslin shift, her chestnut coloured hair dressed in ringlets; sunset background by Aimée-Zoé-Lizinka de Mirbel was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2008. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,312.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Aimée-Zoé-Lizinka de Mirbel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ferdinand, Duc D'Orléans (1810-1842) in September 2015 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.312,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aimée-Zoé-Lizinka de Mirbel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ferdinand, Duc D'Orléans (1810-1842) im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
