The work Duc de Duras (1771-1838), in blue coat with black collar, white waistcoat and knotted cravat, wearing the blue moiré sash and breast-star of the Royal French Order of the Holy Ghost and the red ribbon of another order (Legion of Honour or Saint-Loui by Aimée-Zoé-Lizinka de Mirbel was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2009. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,466.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Aimée-Zoé-Lizinka de Mirbel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ferdinand, Duc D'Orléans (1810-1842) in September 2015 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
