Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Burning the Fields by Aimé Perret was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in February 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,304.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Aimé Perret have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Waiting for the Ferry in April 2003 with an auction result of USD 17,925.00 (€ 14,596.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Burning the Fields von Aimé Perret wurde im Februar 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 2.304,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aimé Perret auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Waiting for the Ferry im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.925,00 (€ 14.596,91).
