The work A letter from the front by Aimé Perret was sold in the Old Masters and 19th Century Art auction at Christies in London in July 2010. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,005.97), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Aimé Perret have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Waiting for the Ferry in April 2003 with an auction result of USD 17,925.00 (€ 14,596.91).

Die Arbeit A letter from the front von Aimé Perret wurde im Juli 2010 in der Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.005,97) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aimé Perret auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Waiting for the Ferry im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.925,00 (€ 14.596,91).
