Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Untitled (Metaphorical landscape) by Ahmed Parvez. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,625.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmed Parvez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,418.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Metaphorical landscape) von Ahmed Parvez zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.402,50 (€ 1.625,18) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmed Parvez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 23.418,21).
