This artwork by Agus Triyanto Br. achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work Journey Of Hope sold for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 23,927.82) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Agus Triyanto Br.; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Savana Dance sold at auction in April 2017 with the realized price of HKD 312,500.00 (€ 36,886.19).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Agus Triyanto Br. erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Journey Of Hope für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 23.927,82) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Agus Triyanto Br.; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Savana Dance im April 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 312.500,00 (€ 36.886,19).
