Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Aglaé Bassens could be acquired at Bonhams in London in January 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The SAATCHI Edit auction, the work Ink Wigs changed hands for GBP 127.50 (€ 144.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aglaé Bassens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Audience in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,650.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Aglaé Bassens konnte im Januar 2021 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The SAATCHI Edit wechselte die Arbeit Ink Wigs für GBP 127,50 (€ 144,18) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aglaé Bassens erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Audience im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.650,85).
