Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Cristo in croce by Agenore Fabbri was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in July 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,520.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Agenore Fabbri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Forma Iv in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,414.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Cristo in croce von Agenore Fabbri im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.520,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Agenore Fabbri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Forma Iv im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 38.414,74).
