In the Nineteenth Century European Art auction, the work An Oriental Dancer changed hands for USD 21,150.00 (€ 23,610.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Affortunato Gory have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2001 by the work An Oriental Dancer at USD 28,200.00 (€ 33,353.05).
