Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lichteinfall, Leipzig, Bahnhof by Aenne Biermann was auctioned at Lempertz in Cologne in December last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,276.00. Admittedly, works by Aenne Biermann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Helga 9 1/2 Jahre alt (Helga 9 1/2 years old) in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,097.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lichteinfall, Leipzig, Bahnhof von Aenne Biermann kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Lempertz in Köln zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.276,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aenne Biermann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Helga 9 1/2 Jahre alt (Helga 9 1/2 years old) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.097,18).
