Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings including German, Austrian & Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and The Scandinavian Sale, which included the work French Nu En Paysage by Adrien Thevenot. The price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,936.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrien Thevenot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Musique sur l'herbe, which sold at auction in September 2012 for GBP 58,850.00 (€ 73,846.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings including German, Austrian & Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and The Scandinavian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit French Nu En Paysage von Adrien Thevenot zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.936,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Adrien Thevenot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Musique sur l'herbe beobachtet, die im September 2012 für GBP 58.850,00 (€ 73.846,31) versteigert wurde.
