It achieved a price of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,316.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Women Around the Lotus Pond in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 30,360,000.00 (€ 3,509,054.33).

Die Arbeit Women of Bali Weaving von Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès kam im Januar letzten Jahres bei Christies zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.316,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Women Around the Lotus Pond im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 30.360.000,00 (€ 3.509.054,33).
