Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Day Auction, which included the work Quais a St Tropez by Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès. The price achieved of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 60,937.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 380,000.00 – 550,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Women Around the Lotus Pond in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 30,360,000.00 (€ 3,509,054.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Quais a St Tropez von Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 60.937,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 380.000,00 – 550.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Women Around the Lotus Pond im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 30.360.000,00 (€ 3.509.054,33).
