Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,600.00 (€ 8,094.16) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Women Around the Lotus Pond in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 30,360,000.00 (€ 3,509,054.33).
