Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in November 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Figure and Form: Modern Art Featuring Bridging Generations, Property from an Important Southeast Asian Private Museum auction, the work Udaipur, India changed hands for HKD 63,000.00 (€ 7,004.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Women Around the Lotus Pond in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 30,360,000.00 (€ 3,509,054.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès konnte im November 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
