The work fête au temple (Party at The Temple) by Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès was sold in the 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2021. The auction ended at the price of HKD 4,000,000.00 (€ 453,083.58), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 3,000,000.00 – 4,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Women Around the Lotus Pond in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 30,360,000.00 (€ 3,509,054.33).
