In October 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art including Important British Paintings, which included the work French Harem Beauty by Henri Adrien Tanoux. The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,943.41) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Adrien Tanoux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Namouna in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 216,250.00.

Im Oktober 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Important British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit French Harem Beauty von Henri Adrien Tanoux zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 16.943,41) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Adrien Tanoux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Namouna im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 216.250,00.
